People in the snow: Fabian Klante from the Winterberg ski lift carousel
In winter 2020/21, the Winterberg ski lift carousel was one of the few ski areas in Germany that was allowed to open despite the coronavirus lockdown. During the period in which the lifts were running, from March until the end of operations at the end of April, there were no known COVID-19 infections in the ski area.
